Where can I rent a car?
What are passing/ being passed rules. Point by's, blinkers?
Anything else I need to know?
Not sure what the latest on available cars is, but as Bimmerboy noted, www.nurburgring.co.uk is the best resource out there on the basics on the 'Ring. I rented a Z4 from eSixT, and they did check the navigation afterwards, so not sure if they were looking for "Nurburg" in the registry or what...

No point-byes as it's technically a public toll road (and it can be a bit chaotic at times), so the typical method is simply to pull to the right to let the passer by on the left. I used point-byes, which may have confused the other 'Ringers, but oh well.
Be sure to check the schedule to see if the Nordschliefe will be open - it's usually only open on Sundays all day...
Have a great trip and be sure to enjoy it!
