For AutoX you don't need much of a pad. You'll need a low-temp, high bite pad. You could use Advance Auto's generic Dot-3 and never have a problem. Auto-x's are not hard on brakes.
If you want to do an HPDE, then you need to start working on better fluid, tougher pads.
