The Daytona Project

Wow, looking thought this thread and going to the track this past weekend really has me wanting to get the Daytona finished. The project has officially gained prime time status again. The bearing I received was once again...the wrong one. So this time I am going to order a complete rebuild kit which should include the bearing. I'm going to have a mechanic help me and I am going to rebuild the whole damn thing.

Next on the list- Brakes
Before we even get the car on the road we are going to pull all four calipers, tear them down, and send them to Rex for powder coating. Turn all 4 rotors and replace the lines with SS type. Sylvia and I will likely begin this process this weekend, I need the wheels off the car anyway for the Sebring.

What brake fluid would you guys recommend? Super Blue DOT 4?

What is a good pad for street/autocross? I'm thinking you are going to tell me I need a different set for each. Thoughts?
