I will say state farm did help me out by not making me insure it for my herndon address - so being garaged back home, i think my rate is something like 120$/mo, full coverage, 250$ deducitible on everything.I don't remember what the STi breaks down to monthly, but I can tell you between the STi and IS (both on the top 10 highest vehicles to insure list) my 6 month premium is **get ready for all of you to gasp in terror for me**
It'll still takeyears for the rates go down even if they do ugly up the car, the motor will be basically the same right? so they're going to have to wait for kids to stop buying them, thus stop wrecking them before any rates go down. Seems like they would be just as well off if anything to kick the car UP into the next market, that can afford the insurance.
$1900. Yes, that's $3800 / year for full coverage on two vehicles. My driving record is less than spotless, but by the end of this year it will be down dramatically because of a couple of reasons:
1) I turn 25 in a month
2) The STi should be sold by June
3) By October a couple of tickets will have been stricken from the record
