I was never really into the custom car shows but I'll go to the big industry shows. I went to the LA Auto Show once and that was a lot of fun. I'll probably go to the NY Auto Show this April and the Tokyo Motor Show in October through Vtec.net.
My thing with most shows is that it doesn't really excite me to see cars sitting in a booth anymore after being around alot of racing and seeing exotic cars in action. I'd be tickled if I got to see a show with a bunch of historic racecars but seeing even heavily modified street cars doesn't get me super-excited. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon, but I wouldn't go out of my way.
