Because I think its incredibly stupid. Thats my opinion. Most (not all) people like that only own a motorcycle for the image and nothing else. For most of us, riding a motorcycle is nothing to do with the image (although we'd all be lying if we didnt enjoy that aspect a little bit) and all about the enjoyment you get on them.

Ok I'll bite.
Sure, there's lots of things. But they were all because I enjoy doing it, not because I can say I own something cool. Hell, I did buy something i thought was really cool (the RC51) and it really wasnt what I expected it to be.
The thing with the supras, and the vipers, and the custom chrome harley things is that its just the status quo for garage and dyno queens. They arent really different and most of them just get used as garage ornaments and I cant see any attraction to that at all. I find something that doesnt get enjoyed for what it is completely ordinary.
