I also heard it was pretty rough on your tires - and tires for the Elise are not cheap.

meh, don't sweat it too much. you have to be way out of control to mess up that bad at an auto-x. almost all the "situations" i've seen have been people with highly boosted cars or big displacement stuff like vettes.

it's kinda rough on your tires but that's about it. and even then, your tires are so biased towards performance that even if you are hacking at the wheel they'll take the punishment well.

it's a great feeling to beat up on times posted by cars with twice your power 8)
