i understand you. dumping excess sand into drainage systems ain't natural.
my point was that sand isn't much of a problem in the grand scheme of all kinds of erosion and runoff. if anything you only have sand on the road for maybe a month out of the year, but you will have runoff/erosion all year. sand is highly mobile too and gets carried pretty easily downstream.
and really, if i was going to look at sand as an issue i'd probably look at racing a car (guzzle gas), mountain biking (eroding trails), etc (i'm busting balls at this point :lol: ) before getting worried about granules of dirt on the road.
