Wow that sucks =( I never had any problems rolling over those in my STi, and it's slammed pretty low.
My boss has a built solid roller 434 in his C4 and he too was having problems with oil in his crankcase breather. I think he ended up doing some kind of custom catch can setup and it helped out.
