My mom bought 3 cameras (for me, my sister and herself - and if anyone asks for pics of my sister I'll cut your throat) from one of those shady places for xmas. After the order was placed they had to "call and confirm" it. They ended up getting talked into buying exra memory cards, bags, starter kits... i forget what else. But at least the deal on the camera was good....
The camera really wasnt what I'd want (Canon A620), so I called them to ask about an exchange for a Canon SD800IS and I'd pay the difference - they said it wasnt a problem so I shipped it back. Today I called to sort it out and they tried to tell me the original sale was on a $50 cheaper camera and the A620 was a "free upgrade". I really didnt believe them, so I called mom and asked - sure enough it wasnt, and I had to call and haggle with the guy to get the right amount on the exchange. I'll believe it when I get the camera in and see my visa statement though.
