Mine failed at similar mileage and the coil packs were doing just fine.
If you want to play semantics on it, then go ahead, but the bottom line is that in 100k miles you should expect to have to replace something out of wear and tear. If its a coolant hose, or a p/s hose, or an exhaust manifold or whatever.
