it would help with handling but you might bottom out from time to time with the weaker stock shocks and lower height, and the ride might be bouncy due to the afforementioned weaker shocks.
basically the springs are stiffer to handle better and prevent bottoming out so you can see how that will tax your shocks. you could do it though...but the shocks will eventually need replacement. also im not sure if you'd need a camber kit....but an allignment would be in order after the install.
