E30 Police Chase

I love these videos. My favorite is the DSM chase one, but this is pretty good too. I do wonder a few things:

#1: Since when to E30 M3's have "240 horsepowerrrrrrrr."?
and
#2:How much horsepower could a chip possibly add to the "Corvette Engine" in the 9C1 package? Pssh.

And finally, my biggest beef, when the guy says the BMW "breaks down" it's very clear it's just a slow-motion clip of when the E30 took it's U-Turn.

Still, fun to watch.

That show makes up random facts all the time. Some beamer board was dicussing years back they replay the old clip at the end since the kid out ran them.

The police package isnt any faster, its actually slower lol weight.

My favorite has to be the helicopter-man voice. No matter where the chase is, LA, Georgia, England, wherever...if theres a helicopter above filming, the same guy is always "there", repeating whatever Sheriff Bunnell says.

That kid was 15 and driving his dad's m3. He was later arrested at his house. I remember watching this video back in highschool.
While that show can be entertaining it is also full of BS.

in reality, yeah thats what high speed chases do, but i think pursuit can be safer because obviously the cop will have its lights on and the siren blaring which in theory should let everyone around know to get the F outta the way. now we all know how retarded drivers are when an ambulance or police car is trying to get through.

for the record, i've been passed by a VA state trooper camaro with lights blazing and what not, and didn't even know he was there until he was almost by me because he was going so fast. i was lucky i wasn't in his lane or i'm sure things would have gotten hairy.
