Thanks Dave, I don't think it'll be too bad because I can pull the front part of the sub frame off the car. But I dont know a lot about new cars and electronics, so that'll be the kicker. So far this is what the build will look like. I don't think I'm going with the rebuild kit though, it is cheaper to buy everything separately. Also I need rods, but this is just a guesstomation

So you should just order all new cooling system components and rebuild it all if it's gushing like that and you can't resolve it.
Chances the head gasket is blown and over-pressurizing the cooling system, causing it to leak?

Everything coolant wise has been replaced besides the hoses, so I'm thinking it's the head gasket, and the constant pressurizing is a pretty big sign of that. Hopefully none of the new stuff got messed up, with it heat soaking.

Also, yeah I can unbolt the front off the car and pull off the sub frame. Service mode is doing that but moving it two inches, but I'll just take the whole thing off.

Finally put the mini on the lift to see what was going on. After 4 weeks of not being started, it didnt miss a beat. Which was weird considering how broken it wants to act.
The oil leak was coming from the bottom end of the pcv system, on the intake manifold. The charge pipe, had a good amount of oil in it too. Im getting a new charge pipe without the noise maker and a new pcv hose. Im going to clean up the intake to see if theres a crack or something.
The intake valves are pretty trashed, so ill clean those up. That was probably cause the misfires.
Other than that, its going to sit till the summer, so ill be saving up.

I forgot to say, my dad got one of those pressure/vac things to hook up to the coolant system to try and find what is going on. There the no visible coolant leak, so it has to be either the thermostat or head gasket.

So the car has been sitting for 5 months, but i have new intake manifold gaskets, pcv hose, and cleaned everything. When i get back for the summer, i'll through everything back together and run the coolant bleed thing. Hopefully its just air locked, hopefully it even starts, but we shall see what happens.
As for the summer plans, if all goes well i need to get new shock bodies for the front coils, clean up the rears and get new boots. Im going to lower the front another inch or so, so my front and rears need to be camber matched. I looked at other minis and used "willtheyfit" to check my fitment. Once i lower it more ill be 2mm away from the fenders all around, going for the line just under the tread all around. Going to change the front spring rate from 6k to 8k, keep the rears the same bc i havent had issues. Otherwise, ill see what money i have left and either save up for some go fast bits, or redoing the awful interior.

Ill be going to the first show of the season early August.i have a lot to do to get the car ready, but i have a list and i think i can make it happen. So far i have ordered the underglow, but went with a different brand, and i have plaid fabric to do some interior ascents. During the next week i'll get my crank seal fixed and front coilovers back to fortune for rebuild.

Coils are on, custom Fortune 500s, locking perches, radial bearings, 12k springs and valving.
Test drove it last night and it rides great, better than my old ones.
Now all thats left is to figure out thw smoking issue. Turning it off and on all night did not help, smells like burnt motor and quite smoky.

Got the dash apart last night and covered some of the panels, the plaid turned out great with only a small sag on the glove box panel.
Unfortunately, may not make it to the show bc my tie rods are seized and i need an alignment bad. But i am still going to prep for it, need to mount my skid plate and paint correct.
The car is done for the summer, but made a lot of progress. During the winter id like to get the rear coils rebuilt and get a new clutch.

I have one more show this season and the car has been great this summer.
Lots of maintenance: new coolant system, intake manifold gaskets, pcv hoses, tie rods, battery, inspection and fresh alignment.
New modifications: rebuilt Fortune auto 500s, Opt7 underglow, plaid interior and Rennline skid plate. The skid plate i need to modify to fit the car for ground clearance, but its not needed.
Im not taking it to JMU for my last semester because its not worth the struggle, but im finally beginning to be happy with the car's performance and looks.

Picked up a few things to prep for the show in October
Clear marker lenses for the fenders, two new banners for the windshield, and license plate frames.
For next season: clutch, take the head off to fix whatever smoking issue I have, and either aero or more interior stuff. The aero would be all custom made and a custom fitted wing from 326 power. Interior would be a seat from STATUS, custom rear seat delete and hopefully a rear strut bar for harnesses.
Should be another fun season if the car wants to play nice and I will have an early start because I graduate in December.
