Don't listen to everyone else. Just listen to me. Get the Mustang even if its a terrible idea. Very few of us will be able to help you when something goes wrong with it but who cares, yolo, dope, swag, savage, netflix and chill, and such and such...

When did those become "fun" cars (and I've owned multiple Accords and like them....)? They are an appliance car (except the Si)

Ignoring wear items and maintenance on anything else will not turn out so well. Nothing you've mentioned with the BMW has been a big issue IMO

You're basically going to be trading a dog shit sandwich for a cat shit sandwich with whatever else you buy that's legally old enough to buy pornography and/or drink moonshine. Might be more "your taste" but at the end of the day, the work it will need is going to be a different flavor of shit compared to BMW shit or old-ragged-out Miata shit

All of this. Nothing you've mentioned in either your Miata or BMW thread is a big deal, it's all basic maintenance items that should of been done, and you bought the cheapest you could find (instead of listening to literally everyone here telling you not to), and we got to listen to you complain about it. Sounds like older cars aren't your thing. May I suggest leasing a new car and turn it in every 3 years, then you don't have to worry about it.

F'real though. You could be driving off in a '16 Fiesta ST w/Recaros for $3246 down and $217/mo for 36mo @ 10,500mi/yr. What's your truck payment again? Big Grin

I'd pay big money to see his temple veins pulsating every time someone mentions the idea of selling the truck.

I'd drive the BMW to the dealership and negotiate as a trade to cover the $3246 and walk out of there thrilled.....

Compared to the other stupid shit you've all done, leasing an ST barely even registers on the scale.

Sounds like a better plan then what you've been doing lately.......Whats' your truck payment (which will eventually also require some work)? More than a $217/m lease? For you, new every 3 years sounds like a winner.

We've told you to either sell the truck and buy something that is fun and reliable, or just keep the truck and be down to one vehicle. You've made it obvious you can't handle any issues with an older car (which they ALL are going to have), add into account you buy the worst example you can find to compound the issue. We are just saying older cars aren't for you. If your issue is you can't afford anything better than the worst possible version for a second car, quit buying a second car and save some money..... But really, what's it matter, you haven't listened to any of our previous advice anyway.....

O.o ?! damn, the Fit is $220/month, although not a lease. Damnit Joey, now I need to go seriously reconsider my life choices; once I have to turn in my free car, of course.

what was this thread about again?

I'm not sure why y'all are upset that I don't do exactly as you said. Hell, I havent even bough another car yet and y'all are acting like I have. I think the current plan is to get the e46 sold and get my springs, diff drop, and Brake lines installed. Then buy some tires for the wheels I have and have my truck in a good place. Then by the end of the summer I'll see where I'm at and make a decision on whether or not to buy a car.
