Ok, I'm thinking a 3 pm start time. If the AutoX is over before that, then just come on by, if its later than that, just come on by. We'd like a little more food, so anybody who can bring shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, chips, stuff like that the better. There is a Food Lion in Verona, before you get back on the interstate so that's an option. Address is 14 Foxhall Lane, Weyers Cave, VA 24486. We are 1 exit north of Verona. If anybody has cornhole or something like that they'd like to bring, we can do that too.

Just like Charles G. This will be my first auto cross too. Pretty excited for it, but everyone get ready for 1000 questions about lines and such haha. id definitely like to get a ride along before i whip my car around the track. As far as the numbers on the cars how do you suggest attaching them?( obviously i dont want it to damage the paint, but look good). so how many people are showwing up from the club in total? thanks guys!

The club putting on the event usually supplies blue painters tape and large numbers printed on regular paper for you. It might be smart to bring your own blue tape to share, because generally it gets passed around all morning and is sometimes unavailable.

Also, to make your life easier on Saturday it might be smart to do a few things before autocrossing (Sorry if this has been discussed this thread is 10 pages long, yikes)

1. Pump up your tires to around 40PSI in order to help preserve your tires. The event organizers sometimes have an air compressor, but not always. There will also be air somewhere nearby to the event at a gas station.
2. Take all your stuff out of your car except the spare tire and leave it somewhere else, if possible. This includes subwoofers and amps. You can leave those in while autocrossing, but they have to be really secure if you are going to do so.
3. Make sure your battery is secure. This is overlooked by a lot of first-timers and it will be easier to fix before the event.

Hey, remember this from the first event?!

Pull the peen and spray in a sweeping motion at the base of the fahre. Don't be a hero and pop the huud, there is no need to get burned by the fahre.
