I'd like to find some more comfy seats for my car and was wondering where the closest dealer is that has the full line available to try out before you buy? Anyplace in NOVA or Richmond?
Recaro seat dealer?

http://www.recaro-automotive.com/us/serv...ealer.html I put in VA and a Nova zipcode and came up with a few, haven't heard of a few of them. CDOC is closest to you but I'm not sure what their deal is right now - they shut down/restructured a while back.

What do ya think about the Sparco R100's? A guy over on SVTP seems to like his and they don't look bad either. :dunno:
![]() They seem like a great street car seat on paper, but to be honest I'm actually kinda hesitant about them as they're kinda inexpensive....if that's a bad thing. I just don't want to buy a cheap set of seats as these are not only a comfort item they're also a safety item as well. I kinda have my heart set on some Recaro Sports though.... What do you guys think?

You will undoubtedly like the Recaros more. The R100 is decently put together for $299, but it is leagues apart from something like a high end Recaro, Cobra, or Sparco, in comfort, but sometimes sadly not in build quality. Try to get something that doesn't have a lot of plastic parts (hinge covers, handles, etc). They often break in shipping, and can just generally be a headache.
You get what you pay for, but you really have to examine what it is your getting. Sidenote: they're big money, ($1500/ea), but the Cobra Misano is a seat that I always thought looked good. Never sat in one, though. ![]()

$3k for a pair of Misano's is Kenne Bell money, but they do look nice! Thanks for the advice on the R100's.
What's everyone's take on the Recaro Sports? Would these be considered a higher end seat made by Recaro?

could pick up a pair of black leather/suede Recaros from an EVO for like $1k or less, then just have some brackets made.
These are Recaro Sports and very comfy. ![]()

I re-read my post and thought it may have been confusing, that picture is of the EVO IX Recaros, but they are also Recaro Speeds. You can also find Recaros from EVO VIII seats with SSL Recaros (Sun, Sound, Leather Package)
