Warsaw Parking Deck

warsaw has given me a new problem with the subaru. entered parking deck using normal operating procedure on the first day of class, after about the 5th speed bump front suspension (im thinking its the left front) began to sound like a dogs chew toy. the impreza has been making this sound in the parking deck ever since or when encountering a dip in the road. any suggestions? (have yet to check the suspension with the tires off)

Is warsaw a free commuter deck, like if you have a commuter pass, you can park there?

So as not to hijack you thread with the first post, does it sound like the shock or could it just be a rubber bushing somewhere that is squeaking? Can you replicate it by pushing down on the front of the car, that may give you a better idea of where exactly it is coming from

Im gonna guess bushing, check your sway bar bushings, SAAB does the same thing, annoying as hell, just to lazy to lube her up.

yea man, park there all the time...have tried pushing down on the front of the car, haven't been able to replicate it yet. it only seems to happen when the suspension is under a lot of compression for a very brief time. i will be investigating more this weekend. matt, do you have a torque wrench at your place?

I do not have any tools whatsoever at my place unfortunatley, except a jack that lincoln brought, someone in pheasant may have one though, I know jon has done an engine swap in the parking lot so he might

thanks, i'll definitely check them, put an aftermarket bar on in the spring, wasn't impressed with the grease i used either

One thing to consider, also - the past few mornings have been noticeably colder than the rest of the month. The Miata's stock suspension would squeak and creak on speedbumps when it got below 70 or so. I figured it was just temperature-based, with whatever grease (or lack thereof) changing a bit due to the slightly colder temps and allowing noise.
