WTB: Floor jack
#1
Thus far, I have always used one of those small 2-ton "pack it in a case" floorjacks. In my old age I am starting to hate dragging that thing out, and the short handle. What brand do you guys use ? Anyone have an extra one they want to sell?

I have one of the 2 TON, silver aluminum ones from Costco, they no longer sell it. I think DJ has the exact same jack.

They now sell the same version at Harbor Freight, or it looks ALOT like it, but its just Blue and Silver. So far so good, had this thing for like 4-5 years without an issue. Looks like they have a 3 Ton version as well.

I now have one of these (except the lo-pro version, which I guess they don't have anymore)

It's overkill. It's not a "racing" jack, so it takes 2x the pumps to get anywhere, but it'd take a direct meteor hit. I could slam the Miata to the 'rails and it'd still fit, and lift it 4 feet in the air. I'm happy with it.

I'd sell you my extra, but its the same kind of bite-size Pro Lift that you hate.

I have one similiar to Goodspeed's except bought from sears. It's a great jack however it's stupid heavy. Goodspeeds says it's 71lbs and I think mine is close to 65lbs. Def. worth your time and whatever extra money to get an aluminum one. It's a pain in the ass to lug around if you have to take a heavy ass jack anywhere.

Hrmm, good point..dindt realize they were that heavy. The mini that I have is pretty heavy, but I kind of assumed that to be because the handle is so short you have to slouch over to roll it somewhere.
