hahah Mikey, I totally would, except that would take wayyyy tooo much effort considering I autocross it for fun, its just a bit frustrating being SOOO far off from their times in my class. I dont think the car would be THAT bad if it had an LSD or wider tires, but as soon as you turn the wheel a degree, the inside wheel spins and its absolutely just sits there. Try doing less throttle and the Auto drops out and your left with nothing. So...Jake got to see what that entailed...I had to "try" to do fast in, fast out, cause slow in fast out was even worse cause of the spinning. Controlling a non-lsd drift the entire way across course. I got a few thumbs up from workers when I came in at least. Although on my third run I clobbered three cones. My Slideways plate definitely matched that driving lol.

Damn the point of V8 MKIV sounds like it would be good. But that much power on 225 all seasons 225/50/16 plus no LSD and under 200lb spring rates....EL O EL. I did try locking it in second, and thats what I ended up doing, to try to help but it was still an effort between no acceleration and just spinning the inside wheel. Meh, its fun, ill go install the wheels and suspension this weekend and see how she does in like stx or something

if it saves you any time... "poorly."

as long as you're having fun, who cares? i ran the hatch for years in SM. it was just about as underprepped as you could get... it was fun, i was happy with how i did... that's all that matters. your car isn't going to be competitive no matter where it is; don't think a little mod here or there is going to change that.

Yeah, im saying the mods will hopefully increase the fun factor as I can get some speed out instead of fighting the inside tire.

Tires, suspension, balance, wheelbase, weight, etc. All fighting against you. Its a car full of compromise for autox use, even if you add a diff and better tires then you still have the other issues, even if it were reclassed (which wouldnt happen because of the tire and HP potential).
