I would go to court for then man. I had good luck with courts here for only ticket I've gotten while at school. It was 16 over on Neff Ave. and the judge was really nice. He told me I could take a driver improvement course online and he would drop the ticket. So I did that and came away clean. It's a hassle to make it to court but sometimes you luck out.

what did you tell the prosecutor?

It was really quick and painless actually. The judge calls you up along with the officer that pulled you. Then the judge just asked how I plead and I said guilty. He asked me if I was interested in a driver improvement program and I said yes. He made sure I was cooperative with the officer and that was all. I had 2 months to do the DIP class and turn the certificate into the court. With court costs, it was about as much as the ticket would've been, but it's completely off my record so I'm not complaining at all.

I'm pretty sure they were looking for drug trafficking through the valley. So, it wasn't really for the tint, it just seemed to be a common theme fitting the profile they were looking for.

I believe it was mentioned in an article a couple years back addressing the stepped-up enforcement in the corridor. In the late 90's I drove from Mt Jackson to Middletown every day and didn't see half the troopers I see now.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...
