I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...

Yeah that's one the first things they mention in the article. I will have to dig it up. The owner is a rally car driver.
They did some really neat stuff. The wheels are alloy made to look like wood. The electronics and fuel injection are very well hidden.

why does it sounds like ?4th? gear is the exact same ratio as 3rd? he was shifting, but the revs stayed the same.

Found the article.
A little detective work, the owner "a widely renowned rally driver who wishes to remin anonymous" owns the car. He would have raced in Argentina in 1993 and now lives in Finland. Any ideas who it might be? And the engine was his favorite of all his decades, so at some point I'm guessing he raced a Ford Escort rally. (don't know that they even had that)
Engine is Cosworth circa 1981 European group 4 Ford Escort DBA: 122cid, 250hp @8400rpm
Rear is out of a 85 rally Celica
Progressive rate buggy springs
Aston Martin DB4 friction shocks
Anyway, some pretty cool and unique stuff.
