Wheels Hangers... I Hate Them

I love the stuff. It takes a little bit of time to put it on correctly, but the results are great. I put it on before every track weekend just in case it rains. I will admit that I am way to lazy to just continually apply it for everyday use.

I love rain-x. It works great. After putting it on my car I hardly ever use my wipers at higher speeds.

Have you ever tried not using your wipers at high speeds without any rain-x? I've never put it on my car, and only have to use the wipers if it's really pouring.

My wipers always skipped whenever I tried to use Rain-X... and I wasn't the one always applying it either.

The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

If I was always the one trying it and got it wrong it would be user error.

If I wasn't always the one then I'm paying someone to do it for me.

I'm wrong either way so just call me Ginger+.

I don't like using Rain-X because it seems to work great for 1 or 2 rainstorms and then causes the wipers to streak uncontrollably after that. Looking out the windshield at night with oncoming cars was like looking at a sheet of white.
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

dear all,

use this: http://www1.epinions.com/content_167507234436

i've been using it for years in my cars and have turned a few friends on to it as well. it isn't all that easy to find (try walmart or target or a hardware store), but when i do find it i buy like 10 gallons.

no application necessary, functions just the same as any other wiper fluid, and after a while your windshield gets super powers. seriously, i don't even use the wipers in the s any more.

note: they have a green kind and an orange kind. the green kind sucks.

full fledged member of the "RainX is the dogs bollocks" club.

is the premium rainx washer fluid better than the regular rainX wiper fluid?
edit: n/m
red > orange > green ?

never ever use the wiper fluid additive. that stuff sucks.

not a thing that i've noticed. have you heard stories saying otherwise?

evan, i don't know squat about the red stuff. the orange works great for me, it's all i use and can recommend.

a lot less than the propylene glycol winter formula

rainx is just wax after all. i put a coat of NXT on the windshield last time i waxed the car and it works the same.
