If you only watch one race this year, THIS IS IT! *SPOILER*

wow. I cant believe Rossi messed up. Whenever there has been a must-win situation he has always come through.
Congrats Nicky! Im really glad it came through for him this season.

on a side note, I think it showed a lot of class when the TV coverage showed the Repsol team reaction to the Rossi crash and they didnt cheer or celebrate. Good sportsmanship.

You can't actually be watching the race after hearing that....

You're right, I watched it for like 3 minutes.

obviously not the first three.

I'm a rossi fan... and i still have that pic on my back ground! There is something about bringing the title home that instills pride... I'm happy he won... i just wish the racing between the two would have settled it... at least from the excitement stand point. GO NICKY!

Yeah it was a bit anti-climatic for my tastes. That's the thing about racing, it's hard to predict when you're going to have a good battle for the win.

Still, it was really touching to see Nicky win the title after he worked so hard to get there. He did the most testing, he crashed the least, he really worked hard on the physical training, and he never complained or whined or threw his team under the bus when things weren't going right.

When KRJR rode up beside him during the cooldown lap he stuck his finger in his helmet to wipe the tears from his eyes. Then of course Rossi riding up to congratulate him as well. Man that was a really feel good moment in racing *tear*

Nicky is the epitome of a genuine, hard working, humble athlete who other pro athletes should take example of.
I always like to root for the hometown kids, and Im especially proud to root for Nicky and proud of his championship. He earned every ounce of it.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

"I thought I was invincible, but that's only true for comic book heroes," Rossi told the Italian press.
