Wedge Bracket + Pro2000 = no workie

Alright, here's an update. They still don't fit with the sliders. The holes don't quite line up. So here's my questions, can I open up the holes a little on the sliders. What do you guys think?

i think if you widened that hole any more it'd be left dangerously thin.

Mike Wrote:i think if you widened that hole any more it'd be left dangerously thin. The problem is, you might be drilling into the weld to get the holes to line up. If it were me, I'd send the seat base back with a turd in the box, or take the whole mess to piper and say "make it fit".

you should have just brought it here. I could possibly cut some of that bracket out for you, weld in a new piece and you can redrill the hole to make it line up, but like RJ said, if you open up the hole now you are going to take away to much material that needs to be there for securing the bolt.

i had heard the horror stories about brackets not lining up and all but i've never had that problem and i've bought the brackets for three different cars. i would not make that hole wider though and just do what chad and RJ said
