Evan Wrote:summer? uh...no trips planned (although Anne is trying to get me to come to Nantucket with her), nothing major to do on the racecar, BUT I would really like to buy a townhouse, so if I decide I dont mind being house-poor I may do that and move. If not I would like to move to a better rental house
Buy one from us. I'd be the one building it for you ^_^

This summer let's see:

Work

Finally get my car back

Enjoy driving said car
Possibly go to the beach with my family if I can find 1 or 2 spare days

Summer kind of changes when you get out into the "real" world. It's not like it used to be.

I hate it. My body isn't use to not having winter break and summer break. It keeps wanting to relax and get drunk.

Find a job! I guess. Maybe. I don't really know if I want another one? Tongue

Reconnect with my MM roots. I won't be able to afford to do any track events this summer, but I'll be able to come harrass you all more often.

If Jess is really going to be drunk all August, I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be as well I guess. Sounds like a plan.

If the new apartment has a garage, this will actually be bumped to the front of the list in all likelihood, just so I can get some of these damned parts out of my way and into my car.

My summer trip = Moto GP in July. I will take 2-3 days before or after the trip and cruise from monterey to socal. I thought about taking the whole month off, but I wouldnt go anywhere else, with 2 races that month I'll be broke as shit.
Monterey is very nice. Go to the Aquarium. Santa Cruz is a cool little town too...you won't believe where people surf. You can sit on benches and watch and then realize the bench is a memorial to a surfer that didn't make it. There is also a wooden rollercoaster in the park there.

monterey is awesome. the monterey bay aqaurium was really really nice. its right on the water and part of it is incorporated into the ocean. also, the roads are fun to drive and of course laguna seca is probably one of the nicest tracks i've ever been to. those hills are incredible. you dont believe how steep the corkscrew is until you see it in person.

as for the rest of you. i know school is about to wrap up here in a few weeks, but remember, the summer isnt a vacation when it comes to track events. the season is in full swing now that the weather is warming up. come on out to the events during the summer. it'll be a great way to work on the farmer's tan and lose 20 lbs of sweat in one weekend.
