HOW BOUT THOSE WELDS!!!

well here is the half finished product of the manifold me and dad been workin on, he had a guy who is a Nuke certified welder who travels between his power plant and North Anna to weld it up. All we have to do is get the turbo in (which is comming tuesday ) and figure out the angle to mount the turbo flange. I painted it black just to prevent any type of rust or tarnishing from happening on the flange, cause it is mild steel. the tubing is SS though. Ill have it at the show to give anyone a look :lol: along with the snail

You realize that now that you've painted it it'll look like complete and utter shit about 2 hours after your first run. Should have powdercoated it.

yeah i know..its not even hi temp paint, i just painted it for the reason stated...... dad is gonna bead blast it before the sintall anyway. does anyone know of a good powder coater in the area??? i wanna ge tmy VC, intake mani, and wheels possibly taken care of?

As soon as I move I'll have a powdercoating setup. Lemme know if you're interested in me doing some things for you.

There's a powdercoater in Crimora. Where ever the hell that is. I saw their advert in the valley trader. I've also been told that there's a powdercoater in staunton.
