Apparently His Airness is starting an AMA bike team. From the looks of it I'd say supersport. There are no details right now but if nothing else it should draw a lot more interest to bike racing in the USA.

Well I don't know if he plans to be a racer or just a team owner. If he plans to race then he'd better be prepared for a rude awakening. As an owner I think in time he could put together a damned good privateer team. That's not to say I think he is a guru in the world of sportbike racing but he is among the world's best as a competitor and I'm sure with his attitude he can make something happen.

He does his research. Even with the Wiz... its not like he didnt make a mark all over again... or make money. Could he be the Gibbs of AMA? I guess we'll find out. Air Jordan Riding boots by NIKE!

Well I was curious so I decided to check the results for the Air Jordan (Tarmac Jordan? Asphalt Jordan?) team. Mmm, can you say, blown away? Qualified 43rd out of 55, 10 seconds off the leaders. Don't know what happened there but it ain't pretty.

Btw, looks like they're racing a Yamaha R6.

Man I wish I had Speedvision on the road Sad Since I'm in Alaska maybe I'll go dogsledding instead...

Most pro riders weigh between 135-155lbs and aren't very tall, last time I checked Jordan was not only tall but well over 200lbs.

RTFA fool! That's why I posted it.

In today's superstock race Team Jordan finished 26th. Not surprising considering their rider was a club racer. Welcome to the pros.
