Alumni doing things

Got an email this morning about some JMU awards banquet and as I was skimming it one of our own jumped out.

Congratulations Pete!! Although it was sad to see they edited out what must have been hours of Merkur talk. =)
I'm sure you've got more irons in the fire than any of us realize; we've really enjoyed the WYM game and can't wait to see what you guys develop next.

Pete is one of my idols. Here is a man with passion for serial entrepreneurship. We miss him at the track, but glad to see he is doing so well.

Wow. I remember the Kickstarter for that! I remember my sister was playing it and I told her that game was a rip-off of something someone in MM invented. TIL it actually was the same game.

Congratulations, Peter! Hope to see you riding mountain bikes through Kaan's house with Channing again soon.

the Pete Machine never stops. he's an example of what happens if you work incredibly hard to make your own way and take the time to educate yourself, all the time, from good sources.

Congratulations to Pete!

The only time I can remember meeting him was at the Mischief airstrip meet in his escort(?) and going for a ride-a-long (that was pure fun)

Congrats Pete. No one deserves it more.
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

Yup, I'm always amazed just watching from afar on the FB how he is always reaching out for sources and often acting as a resource himself. Truly dedicated to the mission of entrepreneurship.

I saw this last week and thought the same as others, well deserved Pete!

He was on the lift with Alison and their son at Timberline when one of the poles snapped, we had just arrived to witness the aftermath chaos. I've been waiting for him to announce his purchase of the resort and revitalization plans...

I ran into Alison the other evening at the hairdresser of all people (how cliché). I greedily asked for a tour of the Staunton Innovation Hub cause duh! Pete graciously gave me a tour of the building they were finishing up, and gave me a snapshot idea of what lay ahead in the bigger building. I told Pete last week that I love celebrating my friend's accomplishments, but it seems its played out so nicely today on the forums. Also, I'd like to point out that in true entrepreneurial spirit, Pete was there putting finishing touches on the place. IE: he had his tool belt on and was physically doing the set up.

Woah! You all are awesome. Thanks for the congrats and all of the kind thoughts. Really appreciated and honored by it all. ISAT is a great program at JMU and helped give me tools to do what I want to do. Not an easy road that I'd wish on most... but does have good moments now and then.

Hopefully I'll see some of you out there again one day. Keep burning rubber!
