Always a blast going out to my favorite Virginia track, couldn't have thought of a better way to start the season! I was working middle gate which means I didn't get to see a lot of the cars post up in grid, or get any ride alongs but I can never complain about a weekend with NASA and away from JMU. I drove the Boxster for a hyperdrive which was fun but I have A LOT to learn with it. Night and day compared to the 4200lb AWD F30, but the plan is to work Hyperfest for credits and then do a full DE weekend in June at Summit with a few other current students.
Side note: What an awesome turnout for students, I think this was the most we've had since Hyperfest. I'm hoping they all enjoyed it as much as I did and will be coming back to in the future to work, hang out, or hopefully drive their cars and get the track bug like the rest of us!
