Certain...uh...meteorological...conditions...may not be conducive to 211, it seems. Possibly. I'll cruise down 66 with J&J, see you dudes there.

This weekend blew my mind. I don't remember the last time I've been so busy. What a blast! I'm running on about 7 hours total of sleep for the last 72 hours, so I'll rest up and post a recap soon.
In the meantime, thanks to everyone who came and/or helped either day! Best MM weekend ever.

I had fun at the show on Saturday and thank you for the great turn out for the autocross.

I had a great time at the show! Awesome turnout, well organized, well done guys!

I had a great time. Was good to see a good car show turnout despite the threat of rain.
I do suggest we use judges that take the job seriously (vs voting) as we got some real skeptical looks on the "best in show" being a mazda 6 with plastidip and XXR ebay wheels. Not hating on the car at all, just there were much nicer cars there.
The cruise seemed to be a lot more "under control" then usual so props to you guys being able to do that. No issues this year which is great.
Overall A+++ plus lots of MM turnout to the autox.
I had a lot of fun as well as the friends we were with including the wifey.
I figured out how to get 3x 18" tires/wheels in the back of a corvette but I think that was because I was running 255/315s at this autox instead of my usual 315/335s. Showed in the results but oh well! Also managed to completely finish off the clutch that I knew was going (literally have a new clutch in my garage). On the way home it went from 6th gear slipping uphills to 3rd gear slipping with anything over 35% by the time I was a couple miles out.
Also in terms of speed, we found out all of us were within a car length or two between the RX7>C5 Z06> Evo
2020 Ford Raptor
2009 Z06
1986.5 Porsche 928S

I think Taylor said the total car count was something like 152  Color me impressed as well!
I had a really great time all weekend, the show was very well populated and I thought mostly well organized. Taylor and I already spoke about this, but year after year it seems like having consistent access to a working microphone is a problem. Would be a great use of club funds to pick up a set of PA speakers, small amp and microphone to use for the shows - probably would be cheap to get used gear on Craigslist or somewhere, and at least then you'd know it works all the time. Will be much easier to keep the crowd's attention and keep the show moving if they can hear you.
Agreed with DJ's comments on the trophy wins. I understand Tarmac provided a lot more trophies than requested/needed so it was cool to see the additional "wins" but it was obvious that they were kind of an afterthought. Still fun though, and the prizes were very well put together IMO.
33 cruise was great, nice to see good driving and no incidents at all. Holy balls my convertible is slow with two people on winding mountain roads.
Autocross was the cherry on top - got to the lot and realized that my car had no battery tiedown and I forgot to remove the 10" sub in the trunk. Paul was kind enough to let me co-drive his Z06 and man oh man, what a fun car. Managed to win the class (AS) and was really pleased with how I did in general. Very easy car to throw around and have it reward you. I see why people like 'em.
Great job gents (and ladies) - the photos and video rolling in are really fun to see. Looking forward to what the rest of 2016 brings!

Yesss this weekend was awesome! I'm so glad everything turned out so well and thanks everyone for coming. Show is only as good as everyone who decides to show up! Tons of MMers help run the show too. That was a massive help. Thanks guys! The cruise was somewhere between disappointing and chill, just so much traffic this time around but nothing really beats the views 33 gives you.
DJ your friends Evo had me wetting my knickers. hnnnggg, you should bring him around more often, including the track. I mean he had the entire setup anyway, no?
Photos can be found on Daniel Kiser Photography facebook page. Matt Wolford who made the video also has a ton of pics too, so those are incoming.
Yeah next year the mic is the biggest thing to sort out. We really didn't have many votes for Best In Show and Scott got a significant number of people to go and vote for the mazda 6 compared to the measly 1 or 2 other votes for other cars haha. With better announcements that would really help solidify the entire experience.
Now i need to go and try and catch up on school..... whoops

AnotherDirectionMedia will also have pictures and video up within the next day as well. I saw him getting video of everyone pulling out of the lot so that should be a fun video.

is it just me or does the BRRSCCA have an inordinately large number of corvairs that compete? which is totally awesome btw...i just don't think i've ever seen so many in one place before.

Yeah, there was actually less at this weekend's event than usual. I think they all are in a Corvair club together.
Robin really liked the scenery going up 33.
