I come to you looking for recommendations for a toolbox. Currently I have a 260 something piece ratchet set, a set of standard and a set of metric wrenches, more screwdrivers than I could ever use, and metric and standard sets of allen keys. I will be adding to my collection as time goes on and my current box is running out of space. Right now, I'm using the plastic box my ratchet set came in. 3 drawers (all ratchets fit in assigned labeled spots, which I love for cleanliness/organization) with a top bin for misc items. I would like something that is semi-portable since I move it from home to school or to whoever's house currently has a broken vehicle taking up space in the driveway. I am down for getting multiple boxes, keeping the one I have while getting additional ones, or just getting one big one that I can still move once in a while if needed. What do you guys use?

A little on the bigger side, but I bought this - http://www.harborfreight.com/five-drawer-service-cart-95272.html - it was a fantastic deal with a 20% coupon. Its nicer than most of the craftsman stuff I've seen, really sturdy toolbox.

I definitely want to get something like that in the future. Right now I need something I can throw in the car when I need to. The lack of garage space at my parent's house doesn't help either. God damn new house builders and their lack of focus on a decent sized garage.

CLC 75 pocket tool backpack. I used it all through college and just recently sold it to Justin. Hell I used it all the way up until we bought our house and I have a dedicated workspace. Carry it on your back, cram it into tight spaces, etc. Here's some pics of the one I had. They can be picked up for $60-75 and you will be blown away by how much stuff you can fit into it. I filled up 8 or 9 drawers of my craftsman standing box with just the backpack.

What he said.....be sure to get ball bearing, but may as well get the top box to start your set, should have plenty of room, til you graduate.
I have this top box, http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00987738000P?prdNo=9&blockNo=9&blockType=G9 , and their 5 drawer bottom, http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00987740000P?prdNo=25&blockNo=25&blockType=G25.
To complete my set I want to get the Intermediate chest, http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00962022000P?prdNo=3&blockNo=3&blockType=G3, and the side cabinet, or the side drawers, havent decided yet.
Whatever holds your tools and doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart. Ball bearings are definitely a plus, but I'd look other places than Craftsman too. Sometimes you a pay premium just for the name.
