New Focus 5-door?

Recommend against a Toyota Rav4, those suck. Recommend against 1st gen. Matrix because they eat up rear tires and there is jack-crap you can do about it.

A family friend who was die hard toyota and owned two 4 runners for many years and maintained them himself got the smaller hyundai suv when cash for clunkers was going on...they have come along way...prolly pick up a new smaller than santa fe, can't remember name for 18k or close to it.

Some of the used Hyundai cars we get here drive better than the Toyota competition.

I also have a friend who is a Kia salesman, so he might be willing to let you take a gander at those.

I will be selling our Infiniti G35x later this month, probably will push her budget but its an extremely nice car.

Since this is going Hyundai fast, just tell her to grab an Equis

but on the real note the santa fe is a great bargain and ours has seemed to hold up well with little to no maintenance.

My dad just got rid of his old Pathfinder for a brandy new SantaFe...I would agree with the above, pretty nice SUV especially for the money.
