I come to you guys and your infinite wisdom for wheel suggestions. I recently sold my ESM wheels because I wasn't in love with the fitment in the front. I am now searching for a new set. I have searched everywhere and only come across a few wheels but nothing that I really loved. I am looking for 17x8.5 or 17x9 with an offset around +25 in a 4x114.3 bolt pattern. I hate my lug pattern for obvious reasons :finger: . Looking for something with a nice size lip or something concave. Any ideas you guys have would be great!
Quick Edit- I have looked at Rota D2s but their 1.5 inch lip is kinda small. Also looked at XXR 527 Super Stretch. They are concave, but with the size/offset I want they won't be the super concave look that I like.

Cause you could always do some Custom CCWs
Isnt that a 240 fitment, maybe check their forums with deep dish wheels.
Rota D2s?
Preferably a spoke design. Open to any color that will look good against a dark green car. The XXR 527 comes in a gold that I am considering. Trying to keep the wheel setup under $700 but can spend a little more. I would love CCWs but putting wheels on my car that are worth more than my car makes my head hurt. Rota D2s are work meister replicas.

You're in a really tough spot because of your bolt pattern and the wheel diameter you want. Lots of BBS RS, RZ, Rial Mesh, ACT, Weds, etc. are available in 4x100 or even 4x114.3 and 4x100, but they're almost always 15 or 16" because of the era when wheels of that style were popular. Lots of 17x8.5 or 17x9 wheels are available, but they're almost always 5 bolt because those cars can actually fit those wheels under the fender. So the way I see it you have three options:
1. Find a semi-popular set of any choice of 15" or 16" mesh wheels and redrill from 4x100. The advantage to smaller wheels is you can probably run a shorter tire and get the car lower. I think 16s would probably look fine on an accord. 15s will probably look small.
2.Run 5 lug adapter spacers to whatever 5 lug wheels you want to use.
3.Get custom wheels
3a. Maybe prove me wrong?
A lot of guys who tuck tire run gobs of camber, I mean -3" or more to fit their wheels. Often tucking wheel isn't going to look right without that, but I guess VW guys make it work with whatever that weird abomination of a rear suspension is on those things. Check the VWvortex wheel/tire forum, they're gonna probably be the best place to find inspiration. Check out these beauties:

On another note, there might be a few reasons you weren't crazy about the 'fitment' on the front of your car. I imagine one of two things are true on your car that might be worth investigating before you buy another set of wheels you don't like.
1. The front and rear hubs are different distances from the fender front and rear.
2. You aren't running enough camber.
Good luck. I can't believe I just helped someone stance out their ride.

Thanks for the ideas and insight. I know there wasn't enough camber in the front to have the wheels sitting properly. I would have played with the alignment more had I not needed to do more to make the wheels fit safely. ESM did not mention the mounting pad would not fit my car and being new to the wheel game, I had no idea I even needed to check that. Therefore, with the wheels mounted I didn't have enough lug showing through. The shop that did my alignment said they reccomend 10 mm poking through the wheel and I did not have that. I bought extended studs and almost installed them, but I didn't want to do the work or pay to have it done so I opted to sell the wheels. I have thought about adapters before but I can't seem to find any that aren't super expensive. Do you know any reasonably priced? Getting RS redrilled is an idea, but again, they are really expensive.

I mean I don't know much that Google doesn't know. Every once in a while someone will pop up on vwvortex who machines spacers. As far as those go, my Volvo friends will tell you that you get what you pay for. Wheel pattern changing spacers are expensive to make. If you find a set less than $150, I'd be pretty surprised.
Not to kill your stance dreams, but nice wheels are expensive. Game over. Get reps you like, get spacers to correct pattern and call it done. They're gonna poke a ton since adapter spacers are 25mm at a minimum. I think accords run like et55 wheels, correct me if I'm wrong. That means you're going to need a ton of camber, and something smaller than a 9. Maybe an 8 et45 with a 25mm spacer, so ET20? That's still pretty low.

Still have the extended studs?
Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
Decided on XXR 527 in 17x8.25 (yes 8.25 inches wide) +25. I didn't want to mess around with adapters/spacers/extended studs. Wheels should be here on the 11th, but I will be road tripping to Cape Cod then so will not be able to mount them until at least the following tuesday at the earliest. With a little more camber added in the front, I think they will be nice and flush. And yeah nice wheels are expensive. Having a lug pattern like mine makes the game even harder because most 4x114.3 lug patterns are civics and integras making all of the used "jdm" wheels to small for my liking. Justin, I do have the studs. I will message you on facebook since I check that more than here.
