In principal, I agree with you Mike. Where I disagree is that forced charity to the kids of the 2nd richest county in the country does little to preserve our future. I'd rather give $5000 to educate inner-city kids via the charity of my choosing to "better our future" because we're quickly losing ground to China (et al) in our current format.

Wouldn't it be great if people that made more money had to pay more taxes?
