Go Like Hell...a must read for those into vintage racing

I learned about this book while over on the FGTForum. Go Like Hell takes on the topic of the legendary Ford vs. Ferrari battle at Le Mans in the mid 1960's. Even though this is essentially a history text, it reads like a novel. This is one of those books that you can't wait to find out what happens next, very good stuff. And just today I was again lurking over on the FGTForum and found out that film rights have been bought by 20th Century Fox and that some A-list actors including Josh Brolin and Brad Pitt have already expressed interest in doing this film. :dunno:

the writer is trying to say its going to be a " period piece "fast and furious"" cause they wanna focus more on the drivers than the politics involved......I sure hope not, sounds like it will be an awesome movie, if done well, and doesn't involve tyrese, or johnny tran.

Hopefully this film will be done more in the vein of Steve McQueen's Le Mans rather than just a glorified F&F type movie.
