FYI, tasers do not work by pain compliance. They send an electrical current through your body tightening up your muscles making you unable to move. It just so happens that it hurts when you do that as well (or so I hear...) This is why it is effective over a regular stun gun because sometimes criminals will be whacked out on some drug and not able to feel the upper thresholds of pain.
