me too, hell, my 318 gets maybe 10 and makes what, 1/3 the power?

I guess I might as well answer the actual question though, it gets 35 on the highway. Just an open exhaust though, not really "modified".

I really don't know what my little car gets since I haven't really had it in my possession long enough - but I think it's around 24mph city and 30mph highway with the supercharger...

Not driving it hard enough - you'll know you're getting there when you're closer to 6-7mpg. Modified STis on track are usually getting around 4mpg...

4mpg's is what i've heard from the hpde 3/4 guys w/STi's. I would guess it has to do with going WOT for longer periods of time and riding the car to/close to redline every shift.

4 sounds a bit low but I really don't doubt it at all considering how much these cars have against them on the straights. 9 mpg was putting me at about a half tank down per 25 minute session... thats enough for me.

So who wants to give me a Miata?

when i tracked my STi, i got about 6-8 mpg for the day. but i didnt seem to have the tank drain as fast as shea's did for the last event, but i suppose that might have to do with slightly longer sessions for trackdaze
