honda "awd" = fwd, except when the front wheels slip, a gerbil scampers to the back of the car and tries to turn the rear wheels.
Yeah, this is supposed to come out right after the FE RX-7 and the "new" AE86.

looks nice....for a fake car
Looks like a TL and a New Lancer bastard child, with the wheels off a G35.
When it comes to "Nifty Rumors and Lies", I really think that Hyundai/Kia has an opening to jump in here with a RWD coupe.
Their sales are up, their reputation is up, but their "sport" coupe' is regarded as a bit of a 'Me too!'. The Tiburon has a mediocre engine coupled with a decent trans an excellent styling. A under 20k RWD sport coupe could really put a new notch in Hyundai's belt, and I think it would be something that enthusiasts might convince themselves to buy...if it's good enough. Jalopnik has some spy shots,
But it's hard to tell if it's something new, like a RWD Tibby replacement, or if the Tiburon is just due for a restyle (seeing as the current generation has been facelifted 3 times, and is getting a bit long in the tooth. But a RWD replacement would be sweet as hell, if you ask me.

I Just read in Sport Compact Cat That Hyundai is in the works of creating a drift team, and the car they are going to use may be a tiburon replacement rumored to have a V8 or a Turbo V6
I think they got the rumor wrong. The next TSX will supposedly be getting the RDX 2.3L turbo SH-AWD drivetrain. The TSX is of course the JDM/Euro Accord. The picture shown above is the USDM Accord (called the Inspire in Japan). They probably just don't have any pictures of the next JDM/Euro Accord so they used the USDM Accord for their photochop instead.
I don't think Honda is going to compete with the Evo or STi with anything any time soon. Maybe the JDM Civic Type-R will come here and compete with the regular WRX (in performance & price) but that won't happen till 09 at the earliest, if it happens at all.
