for the record, I love Linds' Escort ZX2. It may not breathe extremely well up top, but that mofo has a shitload of torque and is honestly fun to drive. If I was looking for a cheap FWD car to track, I'd buy one of them today. It's just a shame the aftermarket didn't like it very much.
And it gets 40 mpg consistently, which would qualify it to be a damn-near perfect daily driver
