OBD 2 Code Scanner - Ginger - 07-03-2007 Does anybody have one I could borrow, by chance? My girlfriend's Escort is throwing a code and I'l like to see what it is without having to go by a shop. .. or is there any way to pull the codes without one? I don't recall ever hearing about one with OBD2, but who am I to actually know? - JohnC - 07-03-2007 Any Advance or Auto Zone will pull the codes for free. - Andy - 07-03-2007 JohnC Wrote:Any Advance or Auto Zone will pull the codes for free. It's tipping the scales at 100K now and never had a single major problem *knock on wood* She drove it up and down the 'Burg/Nova trip all last spring when she was interviewing and the 'Burg/Charlottesville the fall before that when she was student teaching. It hasn't left her stranded a single time. Our neighbor has the exact same model and he hasn't had a single problem, either. At 100K if this is something simple, which I expect it is, then I wouldn't complain at all - wear items would be starting to wear out by now. Andy - thanks. If I can't get by DJ's store when he's there I'll swing by and borrow yours. I'll let you know. - .RJ - 07-03-2007 Mike Wrote:you must have missed this: Nope, sorry I didnt... whats your point? - Mike - 07-03-2007 .RJ Wrote:Mike Wrote:you must have missed this: :?: i'm guessing you've never spent a serious amount of time in an escort or any of ford's economy cars from the 90s? - Mike - 07-03-2007 white_2kgt Wrote:Mike Wrote:.RJ Wrote::?: oh puhlease... night and day difference. note: yes, we all know no matter how crappy a car is, there are always examples of ones that make it longer than they should... duh. - white_2kgt - 07-03-2007 Mike Wrote:white_2kgt Wrote:Mike Wrote:.RJ Wrote::?: cheap, slow, commuter cars, nope didn't miss anything.
