Project '71 Big Block Monte Carlo

Just a quick update - the car is being towed to my house tomorrow. w00t. I rented a set of coil spring compressors, but had to engineer a way to use them with the springs already in the car. It wasnt too bad - the springs are really strong though - you'd have thought my 200lbs of sitting on the car would have compressed them enough - guess not. Anyway, things are rolling along pretty good with the car - now I'm just waiting to come into some spare money to throw at it.

What do you envision the car looking like when you're finished? are you going for a pro touring look? big wheels, big brakes, nice paint? I'd go for the up and coming vintage nascar look...simple paint, roll on black steelies, strip the interior and haul ass Big Grin In one of the recent Hot Rod's they featured the badass Monte Carlos used in F&F3 (i know, i know), but they were real, fast, bare bones cars that rocked. Pick one up if you haven't
