Wrench Day/Get Together 2/26/06

Well since the weather is getting nicer, slowly, i figured we coul dpossibly have a wrench day or just a BBQ one weekend to hang out and chill and swing our "Dyno/Turbo cocks" around. Anybody down???? I know Josh wanted to do some work to his rear suspension and possbly a fender rolling Big Grin

What is everyone doing sunday? I don't know about a wrench day, but maybe we could get together during the day on sunday and grill/drink some beers. Maybe watch some speed channel?

I am also down, my house doesnt have much space to work on cars (aka none) but we have a big comfy living room.

Where do we want to have this little pre-midterms week get together. I've got to work till 11pm tonight, so I'm not gonna be of much help in securing a place. If anyone wants to jump in and volunteer a place, please do so and set a time.

Everyone could come over to my place, but you could really only work on one car at a time (driveway isnt very flat). Besides that I could fire up the smoker and maybe cook some pulled pork or ribs... mmmmm. Anyone have a time that would work? I'll just go ahead and say 3, but I really have no preference. chime in if you would want to come.

Oh, and my address is 332 old south high, I figure thats important.

I talked to Ryan tonight at work. If everyone is OK with Hunters at 3'oclock (EST) then I'll bring the grill, and everyone can BYOB. We were kind of thinking if everyone brought a six pack of their favorite barely-and-hops beverage, then we could all maybe get to try something new and different.

edit: It's also gonna be real cold out. Is wrenching something we really want to do, or just eat, drink, and be merry?

Ok I just went and bought 8 lbs of ribs, now marinating in the fridge. I'm going to fire up the smoker around 7 so the yummy ribs will be ready at about the same time as the burgers we could cook. There should be enough ribs that everyone could have a few ribs and then burgers or whatever, I'm getting hungry already.

Can you tell I like BBQ's?
