just a lil update, smoke out the exhaust, white with a very very tiny hint of blue. Checked the Upper and Lower IC pipes, no oil, thank god. Coolant level is normal:roll: dads gonna do a compression check as soon as he can get his hands on one. Wish i was able to help him but im at school Cry any other ideas would be great. God i hope it isnt my rings Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Oh yeah, i atleast got the problem fixed with the car not starting, ended up the fuel pump wasnt running right when i was cranking the car, got that figured out though. atleast i got one prob checked off.

is this on startup, under acceleration/deceleration, or all the time?

I told you it was the fuel pump!!!! Also, the smoke could be the turbo's rear "piston shaft" seal. What brand/builder is it and do you have a warrantee? If it is Garrett (I don't remember the compressor) or turbonetics then it likely has a 1 year warrantee. ItÔÇÖs a TO4B If I remember right. The exhaust housing on those is different then a T3 but I am sure that seal is still there and it is a common problem when it comes to oil burning in a turbo. Also, where is the PCV line going to? A catch can? Intercooler hose (post IC)? Intake hose? Blow back though the PCV system could be finding its way into the intake and burning if the system isn't hooked up in the right way. OR! It could just be the constant rich condition you seem to have.

Also, you have a 360degree thrust bearing right? I recently heard a new "study" seems to show that this mod actaully increases the risk of turbo oil usage. I don't know if it is true I just put it out there.

the white smoke comes out when i am revving the motor sitting still and the motor is warmed up to its normal temperature. Not while idleing. and the PCv is still in the normal location running from the valve cover to the intake plenum.

that could be it then The PCV could be shooting a small amount of oil into the intake and thus letting it burn. However it is usually blue smoke. Pete's car was streaming black when he let off the throttle at track because the car was going rich once the boost got gone. So what does white mean? I dunno. I would chack the PCV first, see how much if any oil comes from it. An SRT-4 can pump out enough oil to fill the bottom of the intercooler by 20,000 miles. It is a flaw in the design of the system (chrysler assumed it would be sucked into the engine and burned unnoticed however it just pools in the IC) that is why a oil catch can is a common mod on those cars. I got my oil catch can off ebay for $.01 and $16 in shipping and it looks great for being BS-JDM advertised junk. Decent quality. They claimed it would add HP...lol.

or you could have blown a head gasket...didn't think about coolant burning white (stupid...stupid...) Just check for any leaking of coolant or oil below the head and check for any green or funky choc. pudding lookin shit on the dipstick. Remember coolant dosn't lubricate. Once it gets to the bearings....knock knock knock knock

thats just a general statement. oil = blue, coolant = white, running rich = black, but that can vary depending on the car and/or fluids

I have never seen any different. Does the smoke smell sweet? Burning coolent has a very distinctive smell. Does your oil show any signs of contamination (it will look like a chocolate milkshake if the HG is blown badly.)

Overfill your crankcase and then head out on track..... when your oil gets really hot and sucks a bunch up through the pcv breather and spits it out the exhaust, its white with a bit of a blue haze. Not that I'd know

yeah it still runs, i think the massive exhaust leak and the cracked mani played a huge role, and the fact that my dad pressure washed the motor and drowned the fuel pump relay without me knowing. I appreciated it, but i hate those damn relays.
