Another advantage Divx has is standardization of format for publishing to DVD for playback in set top boxes and nex gen HD format players. There are a few dvd players on the market that play divx movies.

no, trust me. i sat there today and made the exact same videos in each codec. same exact quality, h.264 was on average more than half the size.
