Well I'm about to just pull one out of the next Tacoma I see, I don't quite understand how every 10th vehicle around here is a Tacoma but none of the 4 junkyards I called has one.

What are the odds this one would work?

Why are you looking for an OEM unit anyway? Just get a cheap aftermarket unit.

sure, but if I can get working one for 50 bucks, I guarantee I'd end up spending more than that for an aftermarket + mounting kit + wiring.... it'll be a boombox on the dash before I do all that.

I was fine with no radio but dad has to listen to conservative talk radio while he works. I guess.

Velcro a bluetooth speaker to the dash and connect his phone. Done.
