2003 Miata
#1
Unlikely anyone here would be interested, but I might as well list it.

And so it continues.....

2003 Miata LS, one of 17xx made in Garnet red.  I purchased the car with 37k and it currently has 60k miles.  The original 16in wheels have been replaced with 15 Chaparal wheels with newer tires.  I have also added the OEM wood steering wheel and shift knob from an '01 SE.

Factory hardtop (original factory paint)
5 speed manual
Parchment Interior with leather-trimmed seats
Parchment vinyl boot
Parchment Cloth convertible top
Tochigi-Fuji torque-sensing limited-slip differential
Aluminum-like interior trim, including air vent bezels, center panel, door handles, shift-plate bezel and parking brake button
Power door locks
Remote keyless entry
Cruise control
Windblocker panel
Bose music system with door mounted tweeter speakers

It is not "mint", as it has been driven and enjoyed. It's a 3 owner car that has always been garaged, covered and regularly serviced. There is one small quarter sized ding on the fender and a small scratch on the rear bumper. The drivers seat shows some wear.  No accidents or rust.  When I drive to work, it is parking in a parking garage.

Not shown, parchment boot cover as well as the original parchment floor mats (bagged and stored in the basement as they are made of "unobtanium")

GLWS, great looking NB. Random, but have you yet owned a forcibly induced Miata?

Rookie question, are those Panasports or did Mazda have a similar wheel? I've been casually looking for a set for the 2002 if you come across any.

I have not, I've played with the idea but I keep seeing broken FI Miata's at the track and it looks like it's not worth the hassle.  In my '90, I swapped in a 1.8 with a "spec miata cheater head", deleted the maf, added megasquirt and spent some quality time on the dyno.  It has 146hp at the wheels and it's plenty of fun for what it is.

Those are Chaparal's, specifically made by R-speed for the Miata (Rota RB is similar).

The one's on my car might be for sale, I am talking to someone now who is more interested in the factory 16's (which I hate) with the car.

Cool, I always read and heard about how good the MSM's are for dailies, especially with a tune and the 3.63 gear swap, was curious to know your thoughts as I thought it possible you had one or two in the mix.  The '90 does sound like it'd be a riot, I had no idea it was packing that kind of heat.

No longer available. I picked up the replacement car yesterday morning and I'm an idiot that will never find another one of these in the same color and condition, so yesterday afternoon it got prepped and put into storage for a while.....

If you pick the correct cars, they are a better investment than the stock market.
