Can Anyone Buy from Auto Auction (Need a Cargo Van)
#1
I'm looking to buy a Ford Econoline or Dodge Sprinter as a support vehicle, and I know these end up at auctions often. I figured someone here problem has a hookup for auto auctions so I thought I'd ask. I'm looking to spend maybe $5k for an Econoline, up to $12k for a Sprinter.

If anyone has the hookup, or can at least get me some Mannheim values so I can negotiate intelligently, hit me up.

Well, shoot. I just got out of the auction game like a month ago, or I could have helped you out. I can still give you Manheim values though. What year range are you looking at? I can throw a couple values at you.

Also, details like half ton / 3/4 ton are helpful. Basically, give me as much detail as possible and I can tell you what price it should go for.

In North Carolina (and I think PA for you DC folks) you can buy at auction being a regular ol Joe. VA you need to have a dealers license. They do auctions quite often in NC for NCDOT owned vehicles, and many vans/trucks to be had on the cheap. Any issues like rod knock/oil pressure will be noted in comments on the list of vehicles
