Speakign of Jobs...wtf? - HAULN-SS - 05-16-2006 So, i've had two interviews with this company...get an email saying "I'm going to reccommend you for hire after I speak to 'the executives' and get back to you early nxt week"...well, I get an email today saying "Please send your resume again in a word document (which it was all along)" ..now, I know they had at least 5 printed copies of my resume when I was up for interviews, and shemust have the emailed original to print from...why did they ask for it agian? Also...if I get this job...wait for me for the throwdown...I'm in. - Mike - 05-16-2006 many companies are stupid like that. - ScottyB - 05-16-2006 hehe, executive processes are usually as backed up as my bowels on enchilada night. good luck though, sounds like you might have this one in the bag. - Chris - 05-16-2006 I wouldn't stress the fact they are asking again, just be glad they actually got back to you! - Sijray21 - 05-16-2006 yeah again about the asking for another resume, don't sweat it. Sometime the hiring people don't have the copies and several copies need to be kept. Sometimes people just goof and lose the resume and fake like they need more. - Evan - 05-17-2006 uh, welcome to the real world? I get requests for my resume constantly. Before my interview. After my interview. After Ive been here for a week, after Ive been here a month, in fact I just got 2 requests yesterday. There are different departments, people submitting your resume for proposals, HR systems different from the departments, etc and they dont usually talk. Deal and move on, is it really worth getting bothered by? - Mike - 05-17-2006 Evan Wrote:Deal and move on, is it really worth getting bothered by? and this, evan, is an example of why you win hater of the year awards... |
