OUCH. My friend who just bought one is going to be pissed. Well at least they were honest and offered to buy the bikes back. I wonder how many companies would actually try to do that.

Those bikes are still fast as hell though, damn.

I dont think it matters worth a damn - its still going to be way more bike than most riders are capable of exploiting. I wouldnt buy one because of the lack of (nonexistant) mid range power. Seems silly to have a street bike that wont get out of its own way coming out of a corner if the tach isnt above 10k rpm.

It's not like this should come as a surprise.

Historically a bike's tach doesn't register very accurately. It just happens that the marketing guys made a campaign off this one.

If you're really going to return your bike over a paper statistic than it's actual performance then you're a moron, anyways.

Please, it may have a weaker midrange than the 05 but its still got plenty of power. More power than you've got pal!
